Illini deliver for 10,000 happy fans

Giving the fans something to be happy about was a theme of the night, something coach Bruce Weber talked to the team about and something the players said they were pleased to be able to deliver.

"That's one thing we discussed," McCamey said. "Coach Weber said he felt we let our fans down, losing three in a row (at home). You should not lose on your home court.

"We wanted to go out and play for the crowd tonight and come out with a win and have the town happy and have everyone enjoy it."
