Final Four on site report

Many of the streets in downtown Indianapolis were closed to allow pedestrians to wander freely. This was especially helpful after the games when the pre-game revelry turned into post-game drunken insanity.

Lucas Oil Field is an amazing venue because almost all of the 72,000 seats are not bad for basketball. I was in the upper deck at about the baseline and I could see pretty well throughout the game. There were two high-definition jumbotrons, too, and the venue replayed even the most controversial plays. (Yes, they even showed the play where Draymond Green was hammered by Gordon Hayward with less than ten seconds in the game; Green took it like a man in the post-game presser, simply saying that he needed to go up stronger.)
