Spring practice #5, Tuesday, April 6

Redshirt freshman quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase took the bulk of the snaps with the first-string offense, and his passing improved from Saturday despite another windy day. Scheelhaase also took advantage of the option plays installed to use his speed. The only problem came when he fumbled three center snaps while working with center Graham Pocic, who is battling for the position after playing at guard.

Sophomore Jacob Charest threw his sixth interception in the last four workouts. Freshman Chandler Whitmer also threw an interception on his first pass attempt.
