Jerrance Howard staying at Illinois

Guenther fully expects Howard will be back on the Illinois sideline next season. The timetable for a new deal has been slightly delayed because A) Jerrance was in Portland last week at a Nike coaching clinic B) Ron Guenther and Bruce Weber have been in Chicago this week for Big Ten meetings. Still, negotiations have been ongoing and they wanted to put it to rest quickly. Those talks started (very) shortly before we reported Jerrance had been contacted by Kentucky.

Further, Jerrance confirmed to me this morning he will remain at Illinois.
