Bertrand to play point guard in tour of Poland

Overseas tours are sometimes hit-or-miss. It can help in the long run, or it can be a glorified vacation. Often it's simply a learning experience. Illinois freshman Joseph Bertrand departs next week for a series of games in Poland. Considering the guard had no game experience as a redshirt freshman, Illinois is hoping the extra games will prove valuable.
