Tisdale up 17 pounds

[Tisdale] said the way the season ended left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. They made a pledge not to let that happen again. Tyler Griffey posted a sign in his locker that said Houston, 2011, Final Four. It was his way of saying he was committing to something big, and Tisdale said every player has been aggressive in the work toward that.
He said when the season ended, he weighed 228 pounds. When he weighed in on Tuesday, he weighed 245. He is working with a university nutritionist and is trying to consume 250 grams of protein a day. He charts his food and has upped his calorie intake from 6,000 to 7,000 per day. He's also working harder in the weight room and his lifting there has improved quite a bit.
