Jay Price interview

-Griffey and Paul will be on a European tour team this August that Jay Price will coach. [my comment: great for the younger guys to get a bit of extra coaching and game experience.]
-Leonard is strongest guy on the team, and has really dedicated to getting stronger based on his Portland experience. Foot injury might be a blessing in disguise as it has allowed him to really focus on strength work (and is also shooting). Tisdale can't play 40 minutes at the 5 (too demanding), so between the two guys you hope to have 40 quality minutes at the 5. But who knows, maybe in some situations you might think about playing them together. We really won't know what the new guys are capable of doing until supervised fall practices start. [cue the tallest possible lineup posts ]
-Crandall Head is almost 100%, but they are being careful. The goal is to have him ready by October, not this summer. (Same for Leonard.)
-They are excited for Richmond. Getting to wear a USA jersey is a real honor.
