Five questions with Paul Petrino

2.) How quick was it apparent that Nathan Scheelhaase was going to be the starting quarterback?
Pretty quick. He's such a great leader, he studies so hard and he wants to be the best. I think he's going to will himself to be a great player, just because he works so hard at it. We were letting things work themselves out, and it wasn't very many days before he went out and won himself the job. Jeff Allen had a really great spring at tackle. LeShoure and Ford are great running backs. A.J. Jenkins came out of the spring as the top receiver. Those guys and Nathan make up your top guys going into next season. But the leader is definitely Nathan.
