Crandall Head getting back in the flow

I'm thinking Crandall Head is the wild card on the Illinois roster. After six weeks of summer workouts - and a promising start for the freshman - it's still tough to predict his first-year impact. That's mainly because he's coming off knee surgery and isn't yet 100 percent.
Head and coaches expect the 6-foot-5 guard will be all the way back in time for fall workouts. But it's wise to be patient as the gifted athlete recovers.
