Illini quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase said Missouri started bringing more defenders up to the line of scrimmage. And at one point, Missouri had four defensive ends on the field.
"I think that helped put pressure on their quarterback," Pinkel said. "We started using (defensive end) Aldon Smith as a spy because their quarterback can break a situation down."
