Air not rare for Big Ten QBs

So, you see, Gabbert's 71 percent accuracy was not extraordinary. Collectively, 10 Big Ten starters completed 73 percent of 243 first-week passes while Illinois checked in at 39 percent. Oh, and by the way, UI coordinator Paul Petrino's deadeye passer last year at Arkansas, Ryan Mallett, went 21 of 24 in a coasting win against Tennessee Tech. What Petrino inherits at Illinois is a different kind of quarterback whose best asset, in Petrino's words, is his speed. Would you feel better if Petrino had pointed to his arm instead of his feet?
