Pearl, UT lie together

Yes, I expected more from Bruce Pearl. I'm sorry he's still telling lies. And I'm sorry he's still got his job.
But what is unfathomable to me is how the University of Tennessee has now become part of it. The leaders of our state's flagship university -- where our young are supposedly taught values -- have just hired a slick law firm to gloss over the latest caper at what some in the country now laughingly call: "UT - the University of Thugs."
Winning basketball games is fun, but sacrificing your principles is never an option. As the former Mrs. Bruce Pearl said so succinctly two years ago, "It's not the end of the world. It feels like it at first, but it's not."
