Illini volleyball up for a challenge vs Penn State

An Illini victory would end another of the Nittany Lions' remarkable streaks. Penn State has defeated 66 straight Big Ten opponents, including 65 in a row in the regular season. Hambly and his seniors can attest to that particular measure of Nittany Lions' dominance; since their five-set battle in 2007, Penn State has swept each of its last five meetings with an ever-improving UI team.

"Until someone (else) wins the Big Ten, they're the team to beat," Hambly said. "Everyone else is just pretenders right now."
