Illini dominate Penn State en route to school's first win at Happy Valley

Instead of wondering how many wins it would take to keep coach Ron Zook's job - the big question in the preseason - it's a countdown to bowl eligibility for the Illini after a 33-13 victory over Penn State in a Big Ten Conference game Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

"That's how we look at it," said Illini quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase, whose accurate passing and effective running chewed up Penn State. "We weren't worried about coach's job or any of that outside noise. When you win a big game like that, it definitely feels good as players. It feels good to go back to Champaign. It feels good to go to class on Monday. It's exciting for everybody."
