Illinois basketball coach Bruce Weber welcomes back a wealth of returning talent, but all eyes this season will be on newcomer Jereme Richmond, and expectations are soaring for the former Waukegan star.
"One, he has a great feel for the game," Weber said Tuesday. "It's amazing. He picks up things very easily. At this point, he's been very coachable, he wants to learn. ... His versatility is probably his biggest strength and will allow him to play. He's 6-8, he can really pass the basketball, he can really post up. You can have him as a possibility as a point guard you can have him inside also."
