Weber post game comments

Bruce Weber-We talked at halftime about guarding, being ready. Mike was way back when we said stay up. Demetri, guy comes to him and he turns his back. As I have said from the beginning, our seniors have to have their best year defensively. If they have their best year defensively, we have a chance to be pretty good. But they have to make that decision, it starts with habits in practice, desire, has to continue. I know they are the best offensive players, that's not the question, but we won't beat the best teams on the road, in neutral games if we don't guard. Including Mike Tisdale helping in the post, being the back stop. To me most disappointing, we went too fast but that's my fault. But the one thing we have worked on, we have really worked on defense. Dropping to the line on balls, boxing out, rotating and pursuing the ball and some of those things didn't transfer to the game. A good learning lesson and hopefully we will be more ready next time we play Southern Indiana. Keep making progress.
