Illini lose three-OT shootout
November 7, 2010 2:00 AM
Unable to avoid a blitz, Scheelhaase flipped an incomplete pass while falling to the turf on a failed 2-point conversion attempt in a 67-65 triple-overtime loss to Michigan, then found himself in the middle of a Wolverines celebration.
"I feel like I'm a pretty athletic kid," Scheelhaase said. "I have to find a way to get away, throw the ball up in the end zone to give yourself a chance. Getting sacked is the last thing I wanted to do.
"It stinks when you come up on the wrong end in a crazy game like that."
