McCamey remains wild card as Illinois opens season

Instead of carrying the load, McCamey may be more of a distributor with a roster that has more scoring threats and athletic ability than the previous four seasons.
"It's like playing quarterback," McCamey said. "We have a lot of guys who can score, get to the basket. I don't think I have to be the guy right away. If it does come down to a tight game, you can still be fresh and make the play or get the game-winning assist, get the confidence in the guys to knock down shots at the end of the game."
