Zook: 'I hope they're feeling low'

The Senior Day loss was still on Ron Zook's mind Sunday afternoon. Instead of qualifying for a bowl game with a win against Minnesota, the Illini lost to the 1-9 Gophers and put their postseason in jeopardy.

"I hope they're feeling low," Zook said. "They ought to feel low. We coaches feel low. This ain't the time for the meek and mild. This is the time to bow up and play ball.

"We've got to hope that they do."
