Illini beat Maryland to salvage some pride
November 20, 2010 8:21 AM
Ironically, Demetri McCamey might have received a boost thanks to foul trouble in the first half. He picked up two and sat for the final 11:28 of the half. "It was a life-saver," McCamey said after the game. "It saved my legs, especially after playing 42 of 45 minutes last night."
When he was on the floor, McCamey was pretty good. He led the team with 20 points, made seven of nine shots, hit all three of his 3-pointers and had seven assists and one turnover in 29 minutes.
