All hail Mikel Leshoure in Illini's record-breaking Wrigley romp
November 21, 2010 8:38 AM
Duly inspired by the scene and faux ivy padding, the Illini tore through the Wildcats for 519 yards rushing, the second-highest single-game number by any team this year, and the highest against a I-A/FBS defense. The majority of that total belonged to running back Mikel Leshoure, whose 330-yard effort on 33 carries broke the school record and set a new season high by an individual runner.
