Rebounding opponents' missed free throws trouble for Illinois

The Illini allowed Texas and Maryland to rebound their own missed free throws multiple times last week. Then on Tuesday, as it tried to prevent this from happening again, Illinois committed two lane violations with the game well in hand during its 73-47 victory over Yale.

After the second violation, an exasperated Weber decided to open his heart and plead for help from official Michael Stephens. Weber tried to give Stephens a brief history of Illinois' free-throw rebounding woes in New York, then asked, hypothetically, what he was supposed to do to rebound free throws.

Stephens, perhaps stifling a bit of laughter, just looked at Weber and said, "What does that have to do with me?" as members of the Illini bench chuckled behind Weber.
