DJ is hyper competitive and our best defender. He also had a couple of nice drives to the hoop last night, similar to a couple of drives at Gonzaga. A nice new development. JR brings an attitude out there that we sorely need. He's a nice balance in that respect along with his low-post skill set to MD and MT. I keep thinking he'll start at the 3 soon enough. He fits with the Mikes very well. DMac was way off in the first half and I thought was looking for his shot too much. I think he even went 3-12. The 2nd half he dominated both taking the ball to the hoop (who says Weber doesn't want his guards driving?) and on jumpers. He even played some good defense again. Reminded me of his game at Wisconsin last year. He's by far our MVP again. Hopefully we don't need him to play 37 mins and take 21 shots very often, though.
