Things fall apart quickly for Illini

Mike Tisdale was called for an intentional foul for pushing Laurence Bowers as he scored on a breakaway layup. After Bowers hit both free throws Marcus Denmon scored to end the drama with less than a minute remaining.

A technical foul on Weber put a final bitter note on the Illini's second consecutive loss with the start of Big Ten play coming next week.
