Scheelhaase needs to play like a veteran

Illinois (6-6) faces Baylor (7-5) in the Texas Bowl on Wednesday, the Illini's first postseason appearance since the 2008 Rose Bowl. Despite never having taken a collegiate snap before this season, Scheelhaase said he's been groomed for all the pressure a bowl game carries.
"I played for my dad since second grade and he wasn't afraid to get on me," said Scheelhaase, a Kansas City, Mo., native. "If you have pressure on you in practice to perform at a high level, then once the game time comes that's something that's natural for you."
