Demetri McCamey Big Ten Co-Player of the Week

Illinois' Demetri McCamey averaged 20.5 points and 8.5 assists while shooting 61 percent from the field and 75 percent from three-point range last week, helping the Illini to victories over Iowa and Wisconsin. McCamey earned his first double-double of the season and seventh of his career in the win at Iowa, scoring a game-high 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-5 from behind the arc. Against Wisconsin, the Bellwood, Ill., native had a game-high 21 points, including 14 of Illinois' final 16 points, registering his fifth 20-point game of the season and 22nd of his career. This marks McCamey's first Player of the Week honor of the season.
