Richmond sits, Illini Nation stews

It's tempting to look up and suggest the sky is falling on 16th-ranked Illinois. Let's examine some of the low-flying clouds and turbulence around the Illini.
--Freshman forward Jereme Richmond missed the two practices leading up to Saturday's 76-66 loss at No. 20 Wisconsin, which essentially consigned him to the bench for the game, and people are wondering whether he's transferring or miffed or otherwise still a part of the squad.
Bruce Weber said afterward that "hopefully" Richmond plays in Tuesday's home game against Michigan State. Richmond wasn't available after the game to discuss his "personal issues," while his teammates were instructed to say that they were personal issues as well if the topic came up.
