Coaches vs Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend

Coach Weber and his assistants will be sporting Nikes on the Assembly Hall sidelines during the game against Penn State, trading in dress shoes for the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend. Since Illinois had a bye over the weekend, the Illini staff is participating in the event Tuesday night.
The sneakers the UI staff will wear were designed by Tom Pistorius of Forsyth, Ill. Pistorius was the high bidder on the "Design a Nike Shoe" package that was part of a Coaches vs. Cancer auction held on WDWS radio last fall.
