Illini must slow Lewis Jackson to have chance at upsetting Boilermakers

"Actually, the first half, we did a decent job against them," Illinois coach Bruce Weber said. "They went back to it in the second half and to me, the game was won with second-chance opportunities for them. Once they got those down, they got some confidence."

Those second-chance opportunities -- Purdue had 16 offensive rebounds -- were created by Jackson, who caused Illinois' defense to scramble when he penetrated and lose their rebounding assignments.
