Kansas too much; can Illini build from this?

It's going to be a very, very interesting off-season. There's a lot of unsettled business within the administration (Ron Guenther) and a boat load of newcomers are due to arrive in the summer.

Illinois will lose a lot of scoring, rebounding and assists.

It has to replace that, but it also has to discover a new and improved level of toughness and consistency. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for players like Paul and Richardson and whoever else wants to step up and prove they can make a difference. I expect really big things from Crandall Head. And I sure hope Meyers Leonard makes improvement by leaps and bounds, because is a big, explosive athlete but with a world of maturing and improving to do in a hurry.
