Ryan Boatright and Chasson Randle tie for the 2011 Illinois Mr. Basketball award

For the first time in the 31-year history of the Mr. Basketball of Illinois award, there was a tie for the top spot.
East Aurora's Ryan Boatright and Rock Island's Chasson Randle each finished with 257 points after statewide voting by coaches and media ended March 25. Each player also finished with 35 first-place votes of the 142 ballots returned.
