Spring practice: Day one

I struggled with this thought on the drive up. And I settled here: Some people wake up before their alarm because they get to drop their kayak in the Snake River that morning. Some people count down the days until they can head to the woods and search for morel mushrooms. Others spend hours trying to perfect their smoked serrano chile cranberry reduction sauce.

Me? I guess it's Illini sports. Specifically, Illini Football. More specifically, opening day for spring practice.
