Illini's Weber: 'No story' about Oklahoma opening

In a text message Thursday morning to the Tribune, Weber reiterated what he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Wednesday night and even joked about the situation.
"Like most years, (I) received a few interest calls about jobs. Other than that -- no story ..." Weber told the Tribune. "On my way to the true coaches' rumor mill -- the Final Four Coaches Convention! Heard last night that I am going to replace Cuonzo (Martin) at Missouri State -- onward to Springfield!"
