Sam Maniscalco took his first jump shot in more than 3 months Monday. It matters less if he made it than how he felt back on the basketball court.
"I've been pain-free since the surgery," said Maniscalco, a few hours after the individual workout on the Bradley campus. The point guard, who will graduate from Bradley in May with a degree in sports communication, sat out last season because of injury and will transfer to Illinois, where he'll play his final year of eligibility beginning next season with a graduate student waiver.
