Despite a concussion that will keep him out of action on the AAU circuit for two weeks, Chatham Glenwood High School freshman guard Peyton Allen already caught the eye of recruiters and recruiting analysts.
Allen will make an unofficial visit to the Illinois basketball complex Thursday, and his stock is rising fast. He was listed by Illinois Prep Bulls-Eye as one of the three most impressive players from the state's class of 2014 following the first couple weekends of AAU tournaments.
The 6-foot-3 Allen will meet the entire coaching staff and the Illini players, then watch Illinois go through a workout at the Ubben Basketball Complex.
