Zook, Illini Caravan visit Children's Hospital in Peoria

For a few minutes, Jordyn Martin didn't think about recovering from the third operation on her heart in the first 10 years of life.
The Washington girl had a pink football signed by Illinois football coach Ron Zook and some conversation with the Illini on Tuesday at Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
"Just to see a smile on her face after that long surgery, it's a big deal," said her father, Matt. "She cracked a couple smiles."
