# Prez Hogan, who had been at Ohio State from 1986-2003, was targeting Buckeye Associate AD Steve Snapp for the Illinois AD position.
# Snapp was interested in Illinois, but recently backed off of a bit because of the potential to take over for scandall-plagued Ohio State AD Gene Smith.
# And thus, this is the reason why Hogan, who initially had the search process on fast-forward, has delayed the process. It's not because of the Chancellor search coming to a close.
