This time of year when Bruce Weber's cell phone vibrates, it could be a current player, an assistant coach or a recruit. And it seems to vibrate non-stop.
Or, with three former Illini going through predraft workouts, the caller could be an NBA scout or personnel director.
"They want to know everything (about an NBA prospect)," he said.
Whether it is Demetri McCamey (upcoming workouts scheduled with the Knicks, Nets, Nuggets and Blazers), Mike Davis (worked out for the Thunder and Pacers last week) or Mike Tisdale (worked out for the Pistons), scouting personnel are doing their homework.
