Illinois-South Dakota State game notes

The Illinois/South Dakota State game will be nationally televised on the Big Ten Network with an air time of 11 a.m. CT.

Kevin Kugler (play-by-play), Kelly Stouffer (color analyst) and Tony Banks (sidelines) will call the action with John Walsh producing and Brad Sheldon directing.

SOUTH DAKOTA STATE SERIES NOTES
# Saturday's game will be the first meeting between the two schools.
# South Dakota State plays in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision. The game will mark Illinois head coach Ron Zook's sixth meeting with an FCS team since coming to Illinois in 2005. Illinois is 5-0 in those games and has won all five by at least 21 points.
# The Jackrabbits are 1-0 this season after a 29-28 win over Southern Utah last week. They were 5-6 overall in 2010 and tied for fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 4-4 record. SDSU played new Big Ten member Nebraska close last year, falling 17-3 in Lincoln.
