Illinois vs Arizona State: You need to be there

Part of me is afraid that the fans won't show up. I'm afraid the fans that do won't make any noise. There's nothing more embarrassing to a college football program than a September night game against the #18 team in the country with empty seats in the television background. I'm afraid my Iowa friends will never let me hear the end of it. I'm frightened to talk to my Arkansas coworker next Monday. There's no way to talk your way out of "you can't even sell 50,000 tickets for a night game against a ranked opponent?" - you have to just accept the ridicule.

Which is why I feel compelled to talk you into going. We can't let this happen. The chances to build momentum in Champaign don't come along very often, and I want us to take full advantage.
