Will the crowd help Illinois?
It should. With all day to tailgate in the parking lots, the 55,000 or so expected will be revved up. For some reason, fans' inhibitions seem to dwindle during night games. There haven't been many better crowds at Illinois than for the 2000 game against Michigan, also at night. This time, if the fumble calls are messed up, replay can fix it.
