Western Michigan coach BILL CUBIT, who like RON ZOOK is in his seventh year, likes the series.
"For us, it's regional, which is the No. 1 thing," Cubit said. "We don't have to get on a charter and go halfway across the country. You have to really respect the program here. They get really good players here. It's a real challenge. The only issue is it's a physical game. Sometimes, when you play those type of games, it hurts you down the line."
