The last time the Big Ten featured a regular-season conference game like this one, it included the presumptive Heisman Trophy winner, a future NFL overall No. 1 draft choice and lingering sadness over the death of a legend. And it was all wrapped inside college football's best rivalry.
That was No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 2 Michigan on Nov. 18, 2006.
This is No. 7 Wisconsin vs. No. 8 Nebraska on Saturday night. It's the biggest Big Ten conference game since the Buckeyes and Wolverines played their version of the Game of the Century more than 58 months ago.
