Illinois will do "Stripe-the-Stadium" and take take 20 billion pixel FanCam photo for Ohio State game

Stripe the Stadium - Memorial Stadium - Illinois Fighting Illini

The "Stripe the Stadium" promotion will be just part of the excitement on game day. Fans in attendance also will be a part of the Stripe the Stadium FanCam, a 360-degree, high-definition image of Memorial Stadium in its entirety. Fans will be able to "step inside" the image of Memorial Stadium and look around, as if they were standing at midfield for a frozen moment of time prior to kickoff.

The resolution of 20 billion pixels is so high that fans will be able to zoom in to find themselves or friends anywhere in the stadium, "tag" themselves in the photo, and share via email, Facebook and Twitter. When fans visit the Stripe the Stadium FanCam, they will be able to watch special videos and enter for a chance to win tickets and a VIP experience to the Michigan and Wisconsin games, Illinois merchandise, panoramic photos of Memorial Stadium and more.
