Illinois-Purdue: That performance was embarrassing

Just got done (gulp) re-watching it. No one played well overall for UI. Poor passing. Our D on and off the ball was pathetic. Our transition D was horrible. PU had so many fast break buckets even though we're just as quick.

Our guards did a terrible job all game of using ball screens. Rarely brushed shoulders with screeners on or off the ball, actually.

We missed ML on a few rolls off screens and didn't get the ball to the weak side for open Js when PU doubled ML. BP and DJ are not good passers off the dribble. Poor court vision.

Our guards seemed to try to drive often but PU is very good at moving laterally and our guards go sideline to sideline too much.

Need to win at NW. Big, big game for our NCAA tourney hopes.
