Jereme Richmond pleads guilty to gun charge, gets probation

Ex-Illinois basketball player Jereme Richmond pleaded guilty Monday to gun charges and was sentenced to 1-1/2 years on probation.
As part of a plea agreement with Lake County prosecutors, Richmond, 19, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon for the Aug. 8 incident in which a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun was in the back seat of a car he drove.
