Northwestern has last laugh in win over Illinois

Illinois' Orange Krush student section chanted "N-I-T" at Northwestern players with less than 11 minutes remaining as the Illini took a four-point lead Sunday. Guard Reggie Hearn chuckled at the insult hurled many times at the NCAA tournament-less Wildcats.

But things only got more fun for Northwestern.

"I laughed a little harder when I knew we had secured the victory," Hearn said.
