Indiana hands Illinois fifth loss in six games

"You've got to win games," Weber said. "These aren't easy games to win. The regret is two weeks ago (when Illinois lost at Penn State) and Sunday (a home loss to Northwestern). It's not today. Somewhere, we got to put it all together and get a road win someplace."

Illinois fell to 16-8 overall and 5-6 in the Big Ten, losing for the fifth time in six games. After losing to the Nittany Lions and Minnesota on the road and to the Wildcats in Champaign, the Illini were asking a lot to steal a win here.

"February is a tough month," said Illini guard D.J. Richardson, who scored a team-high 19 points. "We've got Michigan coming up. Hopefully, we go up there and get a big win."
