The Illini's hopes for an NCAA bid now rest on winning the conference tournament. As for the fading chances of reaching the NCAAs and saving Weber's job, there's no longer that pressure.
"It's off now," Weber said. "The pressure is done.
"I'm going to coach every day that I can. I love coaching these guys. It's been a hard week on the players. It's been a hard week on our staff, there's no doubt."
