Illini pass is failing

Boy, that Demetri McCamey sure was a bum.

Miss him yet?

In Sunday's 70-56 loss at No. 14 Wisconsin, Illinois played almost an entire game with one assist. Brandon Paul had an assist in the first half. And it wasn't until Tracy Abrams set up Meyers Leonard -- with 3:36 left in regulation -- that the Illini scored a second assist.

Poor passing and court vision are big reasons Illinois (17-14, 6-12 Big Ten) is in the midst of one of the great collapses in program history.
